A simple collection of different projects through time
DESCRIPTION

A collection of works throughout the past years ranging from projects done in General Motors to projects done as a freelancer. Some of these projects include some case studies that have popped up occasionally. The range of the industries is typically automotive, small e-commerce startups, in addition to the case studies. The works presented here were chosen for their visuals and work variety.

ALIS Software is a small startup company that specializes in recruitment and talent management. This project called for a complete redesign of their main consumer facing website. In addition to this, new branding and logos were requested and created. The goal of this project was to modernize the look and feel of the site and to simplify the recruiting process for both users and site managers.

Pontus was a General Motors initiative to have a system that would bridge the gap between design and development by way of a tool that allowed both parties to share specs and resources on a project. One of this project's goals was to build an in-house tool and end dependency on third party systems, as it was GM' nature to consistently develop its own internal tools and discard external ones. The main design followed the visual standards and framework implemented in other later stage GM internal products.

This project was a case study on how to redesign a popular site to cater for a specific situation. Such situation was the need to create a unique experience when it came for users to search for accommodations in a new city. The challenge was to present the user with a solution to easily search, compare and contact a given property. All these processes were to live inside the already existing craigslist site.

GM search was a simple add-on feature to an already existing project. The goal here was to create visual solutions to the search results and how the user would interact with them. The visual design took shape out of an already existing format, which could be found on consumer facing GM pages,

GM crawler was a late stage visual dashboard that offered statistics, graphs, metrics, commands and other important information for developers keeping an eye for their deployed code. The visual elements displayed in this project were created by leveraging the already existing material framework from google.

TeaHeeHee was a startup e-commerce site that specialized in selling tea products. the goal of the project was to implement a design that reflected the modern look and feel of the product. For this requirement, various sites were benchmarked to ensure that the end product would be in line with the current trends of the time. The finalized version called for a simplified user journey where the site would present its main product, offer extras then take the user through the normal phases of checkout.

EatWell was a study case involving a medical site that would suggest healthy choices for its users. The challenge here was to provide an optimal user journey where the user would request a health kit, send it back to be analyzed then have the site take in all its details and take the user on a road to a better healthier self. The approach taken here was to offer a solution in the form of a medical dashboard. The visuals were created with current design trends at a time.

This internal system was a project that gave GM dealers the ability to control their vehicle inventories in Australia. The system offered lookup order capabilities with the ability to modify any said asset on hand. The goal of this project was to give the dealers maximum control over their inventory without the need to call into headquarters and have third party individuals do the work requests for them.

Versakini was an e-commerce project for a startup that specialized in selling bikinis and other lingerie products. The goal of this project was to redesign the site and bring third party technologies to help boost up sales. The visuals called for a modernization and a general architecture structure reshuffle to allow the site to have more clarity and provide the user clearer path from exploration to purchase.
